Zinc alloy is an alloy composed of zinc and other elements. Commonly added alloying elements include aluminum, copper, magnesium, cadmium, lead, titanium and other low-temperature zinc alloys.
It is divided into two categories: deformed zinc alloy and cast zinc alloy. Cast zinc alloy has good fluidity and corrosion resistance and is widely used in automotive parts, hardware, construction industry, decoration and other industries. It is currently developing towards the field of medical degradable zinc alloy.
Advantages
Low melting point, good fluidity, low processing cost, corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, and easy recycling and remelting of residual waste.
Disadvantages
Poor plasticity, low creep strength, and easy to cause dimensional changes due to natural aging.
