The carbon emissions of non-ferrous basic metals per ton of production are ranked as aluminum>nickel>zinc>copper>tin>lead. Among them, zinc ranks third, and the carbon emissions per ton of zinc are at a medium-to-high level. As the domestic zinc smelting output will continue to increase, the energy consumption pressure of the zinc industry will also increase further. It is expected that it will be very difficult to achieve carbon peak in advance around 2025. In the zinc industry chain, energy consumption is mostly concentrated in the smelting process (for example, electrolysis and roasting in wet smelting consume more electricity). The total carbon emissions of smelting production per ton of zinc are about 5.18 tons, and the carbon emissions of zinc mining and selection are relatively small. The total energy consumption emissions per ton of zinc are about 5.19 tons.
Use scientific and technological energy to create green content, promote the effective implementation of high-end, intelligent, and green emerging technologies in the zinc alloy industry, and achieve high-quality development of the industry. In order to actively implement the low-carbon sustainable development ideas of die-cast zinc alloys, combined with the actual production of the industry, energy-saving and consumption-reducing equipment is selected, and effective energy-saving measures are formulated; according to the theory of heat transfer, through simulation technology, the temperature field distribution of the smelting furnace is improved, the thermal efficiency of alloy melting and casting is improved, and the quality is improved and energy consumption is reduced; the industrial chain is extended to avoid multiple melting. Contribute to the zinc alloy industry for carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

In the past decade, robotics technology, artificial intelligence technology, and Internet of Things technology have developed to the practical stage. The zinc alloy production line can be completely transformed and upgraded with the help of relevant technologies to improve efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. The production line should develop in the direction of mechanization, automation, intelligence and unmanned operation, so that the equipment and process complement each other. Through technological accumulation, a self-feedback system is established in the production line, so that the production line can self-feedback and adjust the process parameters within a certain range to stabilize product quality. Strive to incorporate the transformation and upgrading of the production line into the basic strengthening project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
